 Todd (the
webmaster from
simlafire.org) was building his department site not long
after I created the one for Elbert Fire. We use to talk back
and forth trading ideas and giving opinions to each other’s
work. He died in a car accident on March 16th,
2008. One of the things he incorporated in his site was an
update to all changes made on the Simla site. I always like
the idea but never used it.
I miss being able to talk to you about the web stuff Todd. We
never really talked about personal stuff. It was always web
design or firefighting. I didn’t realize you were older than
me LOL. You were always so excited about simple things (like
slide shows and java script) – you were young at heart.
Working with you all these years has been a blast and made the
work fun. You are going to be missed. I am finally using your
idea to keep a log of updates. I hope every now and then when
you are taking a break from flying around the universe and
beyond that you will check in and give me your opinion.
03-23-08: Took the old article off
the main page (Is
your car ready for winter). Need new articles and ideas
(hint to anyone reading this). Also added the log of updates
as you see now.
