Fire is Working to Lower Your Insurance Rates!
Elbert
Fire Protection District has recently hired National Fire
Services Office to help do the ISO Insurance rating test.
Currently Elbert Fire Protection District is a 7/10 district.
At our current rating it is costing the residents of our
community to pay more for insurance for fire coverage. At our
Districts current ISO rating residents of our community are
not getting preferred rates.
National Fire Services
Office has done recommendations for the Fire Department to
better ready the Department for the up coming test.
It is
the hope of the Fire Department and Members to lower the
rating so the residents of our community can save near half of
there current Insurance cost.

one of our members. The Elbert Fire Board meets every month on
the second Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. at the fire station. Members
meetings are on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 P.M.
Thank You for your time and support,
Elbert Fire Protection District Board of Directors and
Members of the Department.
Local artist Bailey Meece
(kindergarten), Kailey Hermes (1st grade) and Kevin Stearns (2nd
grade) won the Elbert Fire and Rescue Coloring Contest for 2010.
Their artwork will be displayed on the Engine, Ambulance and
Tender for one year. Great job and beautiful work!
Volunteer with Elbert Fire
and Rescue
The Elbert Fire Protection District is made up of an all
volunteer staff. Residents from Elbert and as far away
as Monument, Centennial and Littleton give their time
and training to answer the call. The importance of
volunteers to the delivery of emergency medical and fire
suppression services cannot be overstated. Rural America
relies almost totally on the volunteer system to provide EMS
and fire services in a timely manner.
Unable to donate your time? You can still help. A
fund was set up to help victims of fire in the Elbert Fire
Protection District. For more information
